2017 MLB Rookie Update – Benintendi and Judge Surging – The 2017 MLB season is off to a great start! Led by a tremendous rookie class and highlighted by two players on major market teams.

Earlier this week, Boston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi went 3 for 4 with two RBI’s including a go-ahead two run single in a 4-3 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. The 22-year old Benintendi is hitting a robust .314 and has gone 6 for his last 11 over the past two games. He now has 9 RBI’s in only 13 games.

Meanwhile, the Red Sox division rivals and arch-nemesis, the New York Yankees are off to a hot start as well. Aided by right fielder, Aaron Judge who continues to contribute at a high level. The team recently went on an 8 game winning streak. Judge  recently went 2 for 4, including a home run, and three RBI. The home run was his 4th to go along with 11 RBI and a 1.006 OPS. He leads the team in both home runs and RBI.
