Deshaun Watson, Houston Texans (1st Round, 12th Overall, Clemson) – In his first start for the Houston Texans, Watson was protected by an offensive game plan that called on him to simply “manage” the game. In that respect he did well completing 15-of-24 passes for 125 yards and a completion rate of 62.5%. He threw no touchdowns but he didn’t throw any interceptions either. Showing his mobility, Watson rushed for 67 yards on five carries (13.4 YA) with one touchdown. He led the Texans to their first victory of the season in a 13-9 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
