NBA Playoffs Rookie Spotlight – Eastern Conference – With the final seedings for the 2014-15 NBA Playoffs set, it’s time to take a look at the players who will be getting their first taste of NBA post-season basketball. This piece will focus on NBA Rookies from the Eastern Conference and will be followed up with a similar post highlighting the NBA Rookies from the Western Conference.
But first, some overall facts. There are a total of 14 rookies on the roster of Eastern Conference playoff teams. Of those, only two* have seen significant playing time and are averaging double-digit, points-per-game. The Chicago Bulls and the Milwaukee Bucks top the others teams in the number of rookies on their roster with three each.
