Cryptozoic Offers Fringe Season 5 as a Premium Collection – The initial product solicitation for Fringe Season 5 Trading Cards, which was received several months ago, was cancelled by the company. At the time no word of a revised product offering or later release date was announced.
As it turns out, the company will be producing a trading card set dedicated to the final season of Fox’s hit series Fringe. However, it will not be a traditional, pack based release. Instead, the product will consist of a Premium Collection.
The set will contain no base cards but instead offer seven guaranteed hits in every box. In addition, a special metal case-topper card is also being produced as pictured here.
Every box of Fringe Season 5 Premium Collection Trading Cards, will include:
- (1) Metal Glyph card
- (2) Autograph cards
- (4) Wardrobe cards
Confirmed autograph signers for the set are:
- Anna Torv as Olivia Dunham
- Jasika Nicole as Astrid Farnsworth
- John Noble as Dr. Walter Bishop
- Michael Cerveris as The Observer
Fringe Season 5 Premium Collection sets will be very limited, with a total of only 299 sets being produced. The release of the Fringe Season 5 Premium Collection is scheduled for sometime in the first quarter of 2016.
