Future Watch: Dylan Strome Rookie Hockey Cards, CoyotesFuture Watch: Dylan Strome Rookie Hockey Cards, Coyotes – Dylan Strome was selected 3rd overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. When the Arizona Coyotes selected him, fans and some members of the media expected him to be an instant hit.

Strome is one of three brothers, all of who play hockey. Ryan plays with the Islanders and Matthew is draft eligible this year. Dylan has a tantalizing tool box. He’s 6′-3″, 200 pounds today and is expected to put on more muscle in the coming years. He has good speed and he plays the game with the grace and skills of a much smaller player. He can eat up a lot of real estate in a hurry and he can score from anywhere on the ice.

Now into his fourth season with the Erie Otters, the 19-year-old is less than a year away from turning pro. He did get into seven games in Arizona this season, netting a point. He also starred in the 2017 U20 World Junior Championships, getting a silver medal with Team Canada scoring 10 points in seven games.

He will eventually become an NHL regular. For now, he’ll continue to hone his craft with the Erie Otters, in pursuit of a Memorial Cup this year. This extra year of playing time paired with another full summer of training will make him ready to make the Coyotes or the Tuscon Roadrunners, the big club’s AHL affiliate.

Dylan Strome has a Young Guns rookie card in 2016-17 Upper Deck Series 2 Hockey. He also has additional, NHL licensed rookie cards in other current year Upper Deck products including: SP Game-Used, Parkhurst, Black Diamond and Trilogy. He’s not going to be hard to collect.

Here’s a look at Strome’s first NHL point:

Strome has 41 points in just 17 games this season in the OHL. He’s showing dominance. That’s a solid step to becoming a very successful NHL player in the next year or two.
