Future Watch: Malcolm Brogdon, Rookie Basketball Cards, Bucks – The 6′-5″, 215 pound shooting guard out of the University of Virginia has already made a big impact for the Milwaukee Bucks. He was selected in the second round with the 36th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

A gifted defender, he was twice named ACC Defensive Player of the Year (2015, 2016). The Consensus First-team All-American also racked up NABC Defensive Player of the Year and ACC Player of the Year honors in 2016.

One Draft Profile includes, “He is a wing with good athleticism, and makes life miserable on opposing guards with his hard-nosed defense out on the wing. Brogdon’s length and lateral quickness make it difficult for opposing offensive players to not only drive past him, but shoot over him. He is as close to a lockdown defender on the perimeter as you can find.”

He is getting quality playing time and is near the top of all rookies averaging 20.2 minutes per game. They are proving to be productive minutes as well. He is shooting 37.3 from the field, 27.3 from 3-point range and 88.2 from the stripe. Per game averages include: 6.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
