Future Watch: Myles Turner Basketball Rookie Cards, Pacers – Since coming back from injury with a fractured thumb, the Indiana Pacers’ Myles Turner has been on a tear. Right now, he is the hottest NBA rookie in the Eastern Conference.

The NBA Rookie Ladder reports, “Turner has pushed to sixth in scoring, seventh in rebounding, third in shooting, third in blocks and 10th in minutes among rookies playing 15 minutes or more. He is first in blocks per 48 minutes with room to spare, which could soon put him in contention for the top 10 among all players, once he reaches the qualifying minimum in another couple weeks. Turner has at least three blocks in five of the last 10 outings.”

Myles Turner is a former McDonald’s and Parade All American. He was selected with the 11th overall pick by the Indiana Pacers in the 2015 NBA Draft out of the University of Texas. He was named Big 12 Freshman of the Year in 2015.

As mentioned earlier, Turner has really been coming on strong as of late. This is especially true on the defensive end. Here is a look at highlights from his 16 point and 6 block performance against the Oklahoma City Thunder a couple of weeks ago.

The long, agile big man is super athletic and uses his speed to get in defensive position. Being able to do so at such a young age bodes well for his future in the NBA.

From a look at the secondary market pricing for Myles Turner’s licensed NBA rookie basketball cards, the cat is already out of the bag in terms of his rookie stock. 2015-16 Totally Certified Fabric of the Game Patch Autographs and those from 2015-16 Gold Standard have been, consistently, selling for between $200-$300.
