Future Watch: Pascal Siakam Rookie Basketball Cards, Raptors – The native of Cameroon, currently ranks 5th on the NBA Rookie Ladder. The 6’9″, 230lb power forward played two years at New Mexico State. He was named the WAC Freshman of the Year in 2015 and the conference’s Player of the Year in 2016.
He had a breakout season in 2015-16 averaging a double-double per game with 20.2 points and 11.9 rebounds. A capable defender, Siakam also averaged one steal and 2.2 blocks per game that season as well.
One NBA scout had this to say about Siakam, “It’s hard to find a current player in the league who Siakam resembles. He is like a more-skilled version of Dennis Rodman, putting forth the same kind of relentless pursuit of the basketball as a long, rangy athlete.”
