NCAA – Samaje Perine (Oklahoma), Sean Maguire (Florida State), Kevin Hogan (Stanford), Corey Coleman (Baylor), Jabriel Washington (Alabama), Conor Hundley (Akron), Demarcus Ayers (Houston)
NFL – Stephon Tuitt (Pittsburgh), Jameis Winston (Tampa Bay), Tyrann Mathieu (Arizona)
In NCAA-D1, Stanford’s passing tandem of quarterback Kevin Hogan and wide receiver Devon Cajuste connected five times for 125 yards. All of the plays were key to the Cardinal 38-36 win over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The loss officially knocked the number 6th ranked team out of the NCAA BCS playoff picture.
In the NFL, Jameis Winston went 20-for-36 with 245 yards, and a touchdown. However, he was also sacked five times, threw an interception and posted a QB Rating of just 74 in Tampa Bay’s 25-12 loss to the Colts.
