Future Watch: Top NFL Rookie Performances – Week Thirteen, 2015 – Here is a look at some of the top NFL rookie performances, by position, from Week Thirteen of the 2015 NFL season. This is Thomas Rawls fifth appearance on NFL’s Pepsi Rookie of the Week list and while we sound like a broken record, it’s remarkable that he still doesn’t have a football card.

Quarterback

Marcus Mariota (Tennessee Titans) – 1st Round, 2nd Overall Pick – Oregon: After a few week absence on the list Mariota roared back with 268 yards on 20 for 29 passing attempts (69%) with three touchdowns and added 112 rushing yards, including an 87-yard touchdown run in the Titans’ 42-39 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Running Back(s)

Thomas Rawls (Seattle Seahawks) – Undrafted Free Agent – Central Michigan: Had 19 carries for 101 yards (5.3 avg.) and a touchdown in the Seahawks’ 38-7 victory against the Minnesota Vikings.

Javorius Allen (Baltimore Ravens) – 4th Round Pick, 125th Overall – USC: Allen went back-to-back weeks with an impressive effort. He rushed for 63 yards on 17 attempts and caught 12 passes for 107 yards and a 41-yard touchdown catch in a 13-15 losing effort against the Miami Dolphins.

Wide Receiver

Tyler Lockett ( Seattle Seahawks) – 3rd Round Pick 69th Overall – Kansas State: Put up 7 receptions for 90 yards for a 12.9 yard average including a 29-yard reception in the Seahawks’ 38-7 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Defense

Marcus Peters, Cornerback (Kansas City Chiefs) – 1st Round, 18th Overall Pick Washington: Recorded six tackles, forced a fumble and returned an interception 58 yards in the Chiefs’ 34-20 win over the Oakland Raiders.

Stephone Anthony, Middle Linebacker (New Orleans Saints) – 1st Round, 31st Overall Clemson:  Had 10 tackles, returned a blocked PAT for a defensive two-point attempt and forced a fumble he returned 31 yards for a touchdown against the Carolina Panthers in a 38-41 loss.
