Future Watch: Vladislav Kamenev Rookie Hockey Cards, Predators – Vladislav Kamenev was selected by the Nashville Predators with the 42nd overall pick in the 2014 NHL Draft. Playing his youth hockey in Russia, this talented forward played with the best teams until he decided to come over to North America to chase his dream of playing in the National Hockey League.

In 2014, he burst on the scene as the captain of the U18 team. He got seven points in four games in that tournament. After that, people started to hear more about him. Following two seasons in the KHL he started playing pro hockey in the states with the Milwaukee Admirals, the Nashville Predators AHL affiliate.

In 2015, Kamenev played for Team Russia in the U20 World Junior Championship. He had a good series with four points in seven games. The next season he had five goals and 6 points in seven games in the same tournament. The team had the same result, winning silver medals each time. Later in 2016, the talented Russian finished up a terrific rookie season getting 37 points in 57 games. Kamanev had 15 goals and he was a part of the team’s playoff roster. He got in three games and got one point and a boatload of experience.

Last season Kamenev raised his point total to 51 in 71 games and he raised his goal total to 21. Again, he had one point in three playoff games. During that season, he received a two-game promotion to the Predators.

Vladislav Kamenev has NHL licensed rookie cards in 2017-18 MVP Hockey, O-Pee-Chee and Artifacts to name a few.

Nashville has a stacked team. At 21, he’s just waiting his turn. He’s 6-2, 194 pounds and his game is now well-rounded. When he finally becomes an NHL regular he should have an offensive impact.
