Future Watch: Will Fuller Rookie Football Cards, Texans – Selected with the 21st overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Will Fuller is an absolute burner at wide receiver. At the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine, Fuller ran a 4.32 official forty yard dash, the best time among wide receivers. He joins an already talented receiving corp with the Houston Texans.

A standout at Notre Dame, Fuller put up great numbers. He was a starter in 2014 and 2015. During that time he racked up 128 receptions for 2,352 yards with 29 touchdowns. He is prone to drop a ball here or there but it is something he has improved upon.

Will Fuller’s NFL Draft Profile reiterates that sentiment, “This pick makes a ton of sense to me. He has totally legit speed; a game-changer from a speed perspective. He tracks the deep ball extremely well. I worry about his hands. He’s a little bit like Ted Ginn of the Panthers. He will make big plays, but you will have to put up with a few drops.” – Mike Mayock, NFL Draft Analyst

On the smaller side for a modern receiver at just 6′, 180 pounds, Fuller relies on that blazing speed to gain separation from defenders. He won’t out-muscle anyone for a jump ball but with that speed and an accurately thrown ball, he doesn’t need to.
