Hot in the Shop – Week of May 1st, 2017 – NT Basketball!! – Well the NFL draft has come and gone. It featured several first round surprises. Look for a recap of the 2017 NFL Draft and it’s current and potential impact on the hobby in an article later this week.
The NHL and NBA playoffs continue. The early exit of the Chicago Blackhawks at the hands of the Nashville Predators took everyone but the team’s fan base by surprise. They now lead the St. Louis Blues 2-1 in their series. In the other Western Conference series, the Anaheim Ducks avoided being in a huge hole with a 6-3 over the Edmonton Oilers who lead the series 2-1.
In the NBA, the first round concluded with Washington Wizards advancing over the Atlanta Falcons and the Clippers falling in seven to Utah. The rest of the series went pretty much as expected. This second round should provide for some interesting drama. Stay tuned!
