Hot in the Shop – Week of September 19th, 2016 – Well, the Chicago Cubs have clinched their first N.L. Central Division title since 2008. Only time will tell if this year is finally “the year”. The MLB season enters it’s final stretch with still plenty of division races yet to be decided.
Week #2 of the 2016 NFL season wraps up tonight with the Philadelphia Eagles, led by rookie QB, Carson Wentz, taking on the Chicago Bears. Perhaps the biggest standout performance of the weekend was turned in by Sam Bradford in his Minnesota Vikings debut. It was the first time in his career that he completed 70% of his passes with zero interceptions.
The World Cup of Hockey got of to a blistering start this weekend with dominating wins by Team Europe, Team Canada and Team North America. Team Sweden edged out Team Russia in one of the best games of the tournament’s opening weekend. Don’t forget to take advantage of Upper Deck’s World Cup of Hockey Packs Promotion.
