New Details – 2017 Topps Tribute Baseball Cards – 2017 Topps Tribute releases on Wednesday, March 29th, 2017. Listed below is some updated product information including a highlighted list of players on select insert sets.
Derek Jeter autographs will be featured in two sets, Tribute Autographs and Generations of Excellence Autographs.
Generations of Excellence Autographs are a layered, multi-image cards featuring low-numbered 
signatures of top retired MLB stars. Players on the checklist include: Derek Jeter, Hank Aaron, Sandy Koufax, Cal Ripken Jr. and Mike Piazza.
NEW to Tribute Baseball are Tribute to the Moment Continuity Autographs. These will be seeded as a case hit. The set features top MLB active and retired stars. It will highlight their career-defining moments. The checklist includes: Mike Trout, Ichiro, Clayton Kershaw, Barry Bonds and Nolan Ryan.
Tribute Dual Relic Cards contain two thematically-paired players along with an MLB-authenticated swatch piece. This is the first time Topps has ever had a multi MLB-authenticated card in product. A few names from the checklist are Adam Jones/Manny Machado, Carlos Correa/Jose Altuve and Felix Hernandez/Robinson Cano.
A couple of new thematic components have been added this year’s Tribute Baseball as well. The first is Walk-off Autographs. These cards feature autographs from players with iconic game-ending home runs, including David Ortiz, Mark McGwire and Ken Griffey Jr.
Next is the new Duel Autographs subset which showcases legendary pitcher-pitcher duels like Randy Johnson/Andy Pettitte, David Cone/Tom Glavine and pitcher-hitter duels including Sandy Koufax/Hank Aaron, Randy Johnson/John Kruk, Nolan Ryan/Reggie Jackson.
Their will be plenty of autographed content from this year’s top MLB rookies as well. Look for autographed cards from such players as Yoan Moncada, Alex Bregman, Andrew Benintendi, Dansby Swanson, Aaron Judge, Tyler Glasnow, to name a few.
The popular Tribute Tandems Autograph Book Card Black 1/1 parallels return and feature a couple of 
new autograph pairings including Sandy Koufax/Clayton Kershaw, Bryce Harper/Ken Griffey Jr. and Noah Syndergaard/Nolan Ryan.
