Topps Celebrates World Baseball ClassicTopps Celebrates World Baseball Classic – Despite the absence of some key players for Team USA in this year’s  World Baseball Classic, the event is as popular as ever. The World Baseball Classic has evolved into a genuine celebration of the great game of baseball. The timing of the event, taking place in late-winter/early spring serves as precursor to MLB’s Opening Day.

As the sport has grown in popularity across the across the globe, fans can enjoy seeing players they might not otherwise have access to. Topps is reveling in the World Baseball Classic by creating unique and exclusive trading cards that capitalize on the WBC’s popularity.

Fans worldwide can collect game-used jersey cards of the top World Baseball Classic players in the upcoming 2017 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball, which is schedule to release this summer.

There will be two exclusive World Baseball Classic relics with game-used jerseys included in Topps Allen & Ginter hobby boxes ONLY! The hobby-exclusive cards will include Framed Mini Relics, which will feature 10 elite players, on cards numbered to 10 and Full Size Relics, featuring 30 international superstars numbered to 99 or fewer.

In addition to 2017 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball, World Baseball Classic relic cards will also appear in Topps Museum Baseball and Topps Dynasty Baseball as well.
