Triple Crown Victory Leads to Renewed Interest in Bob Baffert Autographs – The sport of kings scored a major leap in popularity over the last several weeks with American Pharoah’s pursuit of the Triple Crown. With his victory at the Belmont Stakes this past weekend, it was the first time in 37 years that a horse has won racing’s most coveted title.
As would be expected, the exciting victory also stirred interest in collectibles related to the horse and this historic achievement. American Pharoah’s trainer, Bob Baffert, has been a legendary name in horse racing for years. However, interest in his autographed memorabilia also surged following his Triple Crown victory.
Fortunately for collectors, Baffert has several autographs in the recently released Americana trading card product from Panini America. Many feature him alone with his signature only. Others feature him paired with other horse racing dignitaries including Wayne Lukas.
