2014 Spectra Football Checklist of Cards in 2015 Spectra – Today, Panini America’s Marketing Manager, Tracy Hackler posted on the company’s official blog, The Knight’s Lance the reasoning for the inclusion of Autographed Rookie Cards from the 2014 NFL Draft Class in this year’s version of the product.

“It didn’t take long for astute collectors and hardcore fans of the Spectra Football franchise to pick up on the fact that Panini America officials inserted a small number of cards into 2015 Spectra Football that were originally produced and intended for inclusion in 2014 Spectra Football. Within minutes of the product releasing last week, inquisitive collectors wanted to know why.
The answer, of course, is multi-faceted but simple to understand. The 2014 cards included in 2015 Spectra Football feature key 2014 rookies — including Davante Adams, Jeremy Hill, Terrance West, Jimmy Garoppolo, Marqise Lee and Eric Ebron — whose cards arrived too late for packout last year and weren’t replaced with redemption cards or Panini Rewards points.
Including those cards in 2015 Spectra Football helped get those cards into the marketplace and helped 2015 Spectra Football release with 100 percent live autographs and zero Panini Rewards points.”
