2017 National Hobby Shop Day Promotion!! – GTS Distribution is excited to announce a new, first of its kind, brick-and-mortar, in-store sales promotion. This event is designed to drive traffic to retail stores at a time of the year that can see a decrease in foot traffic. GTS Distribution is providing a number of bundled packages to all brick-and-mortar retailers that are sure to create buzz, hype, traffic and sales this holiday season. 2017 National Hobby Shop Day will take place on Saturday, December 9th. All retailers who commit to hosting an in-store promotion on this day will receive the following*:
- FREE Autographed Jerseys and/or Autographed Sports Memorabilia!
- $100 Account Credit to Host an In-Store Pizza Party!
- FREE Packs!
- FREE Supplies!
* All FREE items to be received are while supplies last
In addition, participating retailers will be able to post their in-store promotion on the National Hobby Shop Day dedicated Facebook Page. The GTS Marketing team will also create, FREE of charge, automated Facebook posts to promote on retailer’s Facebook Pages.
Autographed memorabilia will include jerseys, 16×20 photographs, basketballs and more! Athlete autographs include such greats as Jerry Rice, Magic Johnson, Manny Pacquiao, Frank Thomas, Joe Montana and MORE!!
2017 National Hobby Shop Day Promotion!! – Guidelines
Participating 2017 National Hobby Shop Day retailers are encouraged to:
- Raffle off the autographed memorabilia received. Some ideas:
- One raffle entry for every box purchased
- Must be present to win
- Award free packs received as door prizes for simply coming into the store
- Award free supplies as door prizes and raffle off larger items
- Be sure to use the $100 credit to host a pizza party. Everybody loves FREE food!
- Run your own sales promotions in addition to those outlined.
- Have all orders placed to GTS by Tuesday, December 6th to ensure delivery for Saturday promotion
