2018 Panini NBA Player of the Day Promotion Tips Off!! – This annual brick-and-mortar program has proven to be one of the most successful recurring traffic drivers as opposed to a single day promotion. This year’s event tipped-off with an in-store appearance by Charlotte Hornets rookie Malik Monk.
The young rookie signed free autographs at AAA Collectibles in Matthews, N.C., for more than 200 collectors, Hornets fans and Kentucky Wildcats supporters. In addition to signing exclusive Panini NBA Player of the Day photos featuring Monk’s 2017-18 NBA Hoops Basketball Rookie Card, the rookie sharpshooter signed jerseys, basketballs, posters, hats and anything else collectors put in front of him.
Additionally, nearly every guest posed for a selfie with the rookie star and one fan even had Monk greet her son via FaceTime. After the hour-long free autograph session, Monk and AAA Collectibles owner Bob Williams hosted games of Pack Wars and trivia for 25 of the store’s best customers who also received free T-shirts, Panini NBA POD promo packs and more.
