2019-20 Panini Soccer Rookie Bulletin – Week of July 6th, 2020 – Since many of the major European soccer leagues have resumed their 2019-20 seasons, here is a look at recent top rookie performances. Most of these players are featured in 2019-20 Panini Chronicles Soccer and/or the forthcoming 2019-20 Panini Impeccable Premier League Soccer.

2019-20 Panini Soccer Rookie Bulletin – Week of July 6th, 2020 – PREMIER LEAGUE

Leandro Trossard (Midfielder, Brighton and Hove Albion)

Rookie Cards: 2019-20 Chronicles Donruss #30, 2019-20 Impeccable Premier League #17

Notes: Took a place in Brighton and Hove Albion’s starting eleven on Saturday . . . Notched his fourth Premier League goal of the season in the 25th minute to lead Brighton to a 1-0 away win over Norwich City.

Harvey Barnes (Midfielder, Leicester City)

Rookie Cards: 2019-20 Prizm Premier League #83, 2019-20 Chronicles Gala Rookies #GR-4

Notes: Made his 31st Premier League appearance of the season on Saturday, coming on in the 75th minute . . . Assisted two late goals by Jamie Vardy to extend Leicester City’s 1-0 lead in the match to an eventual 3-0 home victory.

Mason Greenwood (Forward, Manchester United)

Notes: Started at right wing versus AFC Bournemouth on Saturday . . . Registered his first career Premier League brace (two goals scored in one match) to help Manchester United to a 5-2 home win.

Bukayo Saka (Midfielder, Arsenal)

Rookie Cards: 2019-20 Chronicles Pitch Kings – Rookies IV #R4-5, 2019-20 Impeccable Premier League Rookie Metal #RM-2

Notes: Was included in the Arsenal starting lineup at right wing on Saturday . . . Scored his first career Premier League goal in the 43rd minute to help the Gunners to a 2-0 win away to the Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Joe Willock (Midfielder, Arsenal)

Rookie Card: 2019-20 Chronicles Contenders Rookie Ticket #RT-14

Notes: Entered the match at the 76th minute for his 24th Premier League appearance of the season . . . recorded his first career Premier League assist on a goal by Alexandre Lacazette that capped off a 2-0 Arsenal road victory over the Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Naby Keita (Midfielder, Liverpool FC)

Notes: Started on the left side of the Liverpool midfield on Sunday and played 85 minutes . . . Provided an assist on Sadio Mane’s 71st-minute strike that opened the scoring in an eventual 2-0 Liverpool win over Aston Villa.

Che Adams (Forward, Southampton)

Notes: Started alongside Danny Ings upfront in Southampton’s 4-4-2 formation . . . Lofted a shot from 40 yards out over Manchester City goalie Ederson and into the net in the 16th minute . . . The tally was his first career Premier League goal and helped Southampton defeat Manchester City 1-0 at home.

Carlos Fernandez (Forward, Granada CF)

Rookie Card: 2019-20 Chronicles Panini #347

Notes: Played the full 90 minutes on Saturday . . . Opened the scoring in the match by converting a penalty kick in the 61st minute . . . The goal was his ninth in La Liga this season and helped Granada to a 2-2 home draw with Valencia.

Ansu Fati (Forward, FC Barcelona)

Alexander Isak (Forward, Real Sociedad de Futbol)

Notes: Took his place at center forward in the Real Sociedad starting eleven on Monday at Levante . . . Notched his ninth La Liga goal of the season just 12 minutes into the game . . . Helped Real Sociedad draw 1-1 with Levante.

Lucas Ocampos (Midfielder, Sevilla FC)

Rookie Card: 2019-20 Chronicles Panini #383

Notes: Was included in the starting lineup at right wing on Monday and saw action in the entire match . . . Powered Sevilla to a 1-0 home defeat of Eibar with his 13th La Liga goal of the season.

Notes: Started Saturday’s match at left wing in the Sassuolo midfield . . . Scored in the 78th minute to put his club up 3-2 as Sassuolo went on to beat Lecce 4-2.
