2020-21 Upper Deck Artifacts NHL Hockey Cards delivers (3) Autograph, Memorabilia or Aurum Cards plus (1) Rookie Redemption and (4) Serial Numbered Cards with (1) #’d to 99 or less in Every Box! This year’s Artifacts release features a slew of serial-numbered parallels of the 220-card Base Set, which is broken down into four groupings: Regular, Stars, Legends and Rookies. There are regular, autograph, memorabilia, premium memorabilia and premium autograph/memorabilia combo parallels, most of which are HOBBY EXCLUSIVE and #’d to 99 or less!!
Artifacts is looking at making a huge impact, as it has in the past, with memorabilia cards. The exciting news is that the returning Arena Artifacts features one of hockey’s most legendary arenas – Maple Leaf Gardens. Along with this are a strong number of other memorabilia programs, including the long-running Treasured Swatches cards featuring game-used jersey pieces.
Collectors will certainly be swarming toward Signature Apparel as well. Combining a swatch of jersey with a beautiful ON-CARD signature, this set has a very clean appearance. Brad Marchand and Wayne Gretzky are among the names that are part of the checklist here. Also intriguing are the Aurum inserts, which include a variety of formats such as dual signatures. These cards are part of the Upper Deck Bounty program, with the biggest hunt happening around the Quinn Hughes / Cale Makar dual autograph.
