2021 Topps Series 1 Baseball Cards Hobby & JUMBO – Signaling the start of the 2021 MLB collecting season, Topps Series 1 hits store shelves February 2021. This year’s release will celebrate the 70 years of Topps Baseball Cards, highlighting NEW rookies, modern day stars, and the legendary players who have played America’s Pastime. Collectors will find all NEW autographs, relics, and inserts in packs of this series celebrating the rich history of Topps and Major League Baseball on this Platinum Anniversary.

The autograph and relic programs have been integrated into the platinum anniversary perfectly. To start, insert themes have signature parallels, perhaps best executed in the 70 Years of Baseball single and dual autograph programs. The checklist for these is absolutely stellar, with names such as Austin Meadows, Fergie Jenkins, Nomar Garciaparra, Derek Jeter and Mike Trout coming out of packs. Relics, meanwhile, include the Iconic Card Patches which counts down 50 of the most well loved cards across those seven decades. Not to be outdone are cards that combine both hit qualities, including Reverence Autographed Patch cards which are limited to just 10 copies apiece.

There are also some outstanding inserts that speak to the history of Topps. Among these are the aforementioned NEW 70 Years of Baseball cards, 1986 Topps Baseball tribute cards and others. You also get (1) box topper from the 1951 Major Leagues All-Stars program and the start of the NEW Topps Platinum Player Die cuts set which will run across multiple products this year. Add a bonus Silver pack containing Chrome cards and randomly inserted parallels and autographs, and you have the making for an all-time great set.
