2015 Bowman Draft Chrome Prospects Autographs Andrew BenintendiAndrew Benintendi 2015 Bowman Draft Future Watch, Red Sox –  Andrew Benintendi was a first round selection in the 2015 MLB Draft as the 7th overall pick by the Boston Red Sox. He’s currently patrolling the outfield for the University of Arkansas. Make no mistake about it this guy can hit. With two different teams, post draft, he posted 11 homers, 4 triples, 31 RBI, 10 steals and .313 batting average overall. Not a bad first effort. Seems like the good people of Boston will be talking about this kid in the very near future.

The Razorback is 5-10, 180 lbs. His swing makes up for any lack of size. He’s had a knack for the dramatic with walk-off homers and he’s shown a keen eye at the plate already drawing a lot of walks, 35 in under 200 at-bats.

The fact that he’s a left-handed bat will help someday in Fenway Park but that’s more than a few year’s away. For now Red Sox fans will watch whatever games of his that are televised and keep up with his progress via various websites.

The Madeira, Ohio native was touted in more than a few categories as the best prospect in baseball as voted on by personnel by all 30 major league clubs. It seems like he will be fast-tracked to the major leagues.

Benintendi’s first MLB licensed autographed baseball card can be found in 2015 Bowman Draft Baseball, card number BCA-AB. It’s not a stretch to say he should be the #1 guy on everybody’s want list.

Here’s a look at his sweet glove and power:

According to his MLB.com draft profile:

“A former Ohio state Division III baseball and basketball player of the year, Benintendi is a fine athlete who had the best all-around tools of any college player in the 2015 Draft.” He is estimated to make his big league debute n 2017.

Most think the Red Sox have a real future star waiting to break out.
