Baseball Cards Daily: #cardSTOCK – June 2018 Stock Updates – The Major League Baseball season is long and arduous. Unless a player is the cream of the crop, you can expect to see a few bad weeks (or even months) in their season long performance. Everybody likes to collect a player when they’re hot, and many are looking to trade/sell when that player is in a slump. Our #cardSTOCK profiles from Chris Steuber reflect a player’s value on a given day, but that could change over the course of a month. Here are Chris’ #cardSTOCK updates for June 2018.

Still growing into his body, the 20-year old Jimenez has the raw power potential that’s rarely seen. It won’t be long until he’s a 40-plus home run guy in major league baseball. In comparison to Ronald Acuna Jr. or Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s cards, Jimenez’s cards are not nearly as pricey. The ones to get are displayed below. Jimenez has the power potential of Aaron Judge and the star qualities to shine in a big market. Power plus demand equals a hobby monster. Look out!

Baseball Cards Daily: #cardSTOCK – June 2018 Stock Updates – Ronald Acuna Jr., Atlanta Braves
It’s not very often that a phenom comes along in baseball. Acuna, 20, a third generation player, has superstar ability and could be this era’s version of Andruw Jones. The anticipation for a phenom in Major League Baseball tends to inflate the player’s card market. Acuna’s card values soared in 2017 and will continue to rise due to his skill and hype. Based on his performance in the minors and so far since he’s been up with the Braves, Acuna is the next big thing. He’s a pricey investment, so have limits.

Baseball Cards Daily: #cardSTOCK – June 2018 Stock Updates – Juan Soto, Washington Nationals
Signed at the age of 16 out of the Dominican Republic, the 19-year-old Soto blossomed into the Nationals’ prized prospect and the future face of the franchise. Scouts raved about Soto’s offensive skills during the international signing period in 2015. He never hit below .320 in the minors and has huge impact stat potential. Soto got the call to The Show on May 20th and in his first start and since that time, he’s played like a prodigy and proved he belongs. He’s extremely hobby hot and his market is rapidly rising!
