Baseball Cards Daily: #cardSTOCK – June 2018 Stock UpdatesThe Major League Baseball season is long and arduous. Unless a player is the cream of the crop, you can expect to see a few bad weeks (or even months) in their season long performance. Everybody likes to collect a player when they’re hot, and many are looking to trade/sell when that player is in a slump. Our #cardSTOCK profiles from Chris Steuber reflect a player’s value on a given day, but that could change over the course of a month. Here are Chris’ #cardSTOCK updates for June 2018.

Baseball Cards Daily: #cardSTOCK – June 2018 Stock Updates – Ronald Acuna Jr., Atlanta Braves

It’s not very often that a phenom comes along in baseball. Acuna, 20, a third generation player, has superstar ability and could be this era’s version of Andruw Jones. The anticipation for a phenom in Major League Baseball tends to inflate the player’s card market. Acuna’s card values soared in 2017 and will continue to rise due to his skill and hype. Based on his performance in the minors and so far since he’s been up with the Braves, Acuna is the next big thing. He’s a pricey investment, so have limits.
