Breaking Barriers: Women of 2021 Upper Deck Artifacts Golf – The golf collecting market has been on an extensive hiatus that has finally been broken by the 2021 Upper Deck Artifacts product. Fans of the LPGA are sure to be delighted with the myriad of base cards, memorabilia, and autographs of greats of the game, past and present, that make up nearly a quarter of the checklist. Nancy Lopez, Annika Sorenstam, Danielle Kang, and Lexi Thompson are a few of the women of the sport that are highlighted in this highly anticipated product.
Nancy Lopez has been an icon since her first season in 1978, when she won nine tournaments (five in a row), made the cover of Sports Illustrated, and was named AP Female Athlete of the Year. She is featured heavily throughout the product. She appears in the base set, as well as on several parallels, relic and memorabilia cards, premium parallels, and autographs. The Ball Marker relics and Hole-in-One remnants feature items from Lopez in her prime.
