Cody Bellinger Confirmed Rookie Card, Autographs in 2017 Topps Update Series Baseball – The Los Angeles Dodgers’ rookie, Cody Bellinger, is on fire and setting records along the way. He went 3-for -5 with two home runs and four RBI’s in the Dodgers’ recent 10-6 win over the New York Mets.
That’s nine home runs in nine games including three two-homer games! Despite spotting the rest of the National League three weeks before he was called up from the minors, the 21-year-old first baseman leads the League in homers and is tied with Logan Morrison for second in the majors behind Aaron Judge’s 23 dingers to date.
Bellinger is now both the fastest to five career multi-HR games in MLB history and fastest to 21 career home runs in MLB history. He reached the number in only 51 career games.
He’s already just the fourth player 21 or younger to have 20 home runs by the All-Star break, joining the ranks of Eddie Mathews (27 in 1953), Albert Pujols (21 in 2001) and Miguel Cabrera (20 in 2004).
Topps has confirmed that Cody Bellinger’s officially licensed MLB rookie card will appear in 2017 Topps Update Series Baseball Cards. In addition, the young slugger will also have autographed cards in the product as well.
