Collecting WWE Superstar WrestleMania 35 Autographs – Match Card

Here is a look at which WWE Superstars have autographs, and those specific cards, in each match on the official WrestleMania 35 Match Card.

Women’s Battle Royal (Kickoff Show)

The Women’s Battle Royal made its debut as part of the WWE revolution/evolution initiative last year at WrestleMania 34. Naomi emerged as the inaugural winner. This year’s list of confirmed entrants are: Asuka, Carmella, Naomi, Lana, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Nikki Cross, Dana Brooke, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, Mickie James, Zelina Vega.

Of those, just four participants have autographs in 2019 Topps WWE Road to WrestleMania. They are Asuka, Carmella, Ruby Riot and Live Morgan.

However, each participating Women’s Division Superstar, has been featured previously in other Topps WWE sets.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal (Kickoff Show)

The annual Men’s Battle Royal that pays homage to the legendary Hall of Famer, Andre the Giant, is now in its sixth consecutive year. This year’s list of confirmed entrants are: Braun Strowman, Michael Che, Colin Jost, Andrade, Apollo Crews, Titus O’Neil, Tyler Breeze, Jinder Mahal, No Way Jose, Bobby Roode, Chad Gable, Lucha House Party, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, Heath Slater, Rhyno, Viktor, Konnor, Ali, Shelton Benjamin, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Otis, Tucker, EC3.

A total of six of this year’s participants have autographs in 2019 Topps WWE Road to WrestleMania. They are Braun Strowman, Tyler Breeze, Jinder Mahal, Matt & Jeff Hardy, Bobby Roode.

Cruiserweight Championship – Buddy Murphy (c) vs. Tony Nese (Kickoff Show)

The culmination of the tournament on 205 Live means the cruiserweight title match is solidified. Neither participants have cards in the current Road to WrestleMania set. However Buddy Murphy has cards dating back to 2015 Topps WWE Undisputed with his most recent cards being in 2018 Topps WWE NXT.

Tony Nese, on the other hand, doesn’t have any autographs to date. However, he will almost assuredly be included in the newly reconfigured 2019 Topps WWE NXT when it releases later this year.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship

This match will be a fatal four-way between The Usos (c) vs. Ricochet & Aleister Black vs. The Bar vs. Rusev & Shinsuke Nakamura. The match combines some established veterans and some new blood looking to assume the throne.

Both of the Uso brothers (Jimmy and Jey) as well as Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura have autographs in 2019 Topps WWE Road to WrestleMania. Including a very cool, dual autographed card of the Uso brothers, #’d to 10!

Ricochet has a really great NXT Takeover Mat Relic Autograph #’d to just 10 in the set.

Aleister Black’s autographs date back to 2017 Topps WWE NXT. He also has autographs in 2018 Topps WWE NXT and 2018 Topps WWE Road to WrestleMania.

The tag team known as The Bar, is comprised of Cesaro and Sheamus. Each of these respective WWE Superstars have autographs in 2019 Topps WWE Road to WrestleMania.

Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin (Farewell Match)

What a career for Kurt Angle! The former Olympic Gold Medalist and 2x NCAA Champion has been wrestling professionally for over 20 years. Between WWE, TNA and New Japan Pro Wrestling, he’s racked up 21 total professional championships. He takes on his nemesis Baron Corbin one final time. Angle has autographs in this year’s Road to WrestleMania set, Corbin does not. Instead check out his early cards from 2015 Topps WWE Undisputed.

The Miz vs. Shane McMahon (Falls Count Anywhere)

This one is personal. The once tag team duo disrupted into chaos after McMahon attacked The Miz in front of his hometown fans in Cleveland. Angry after they lost out on regaining the tag team titles against The Usos at Fastlane, this feud has been brewing ever since.

The Miz is included in the autograph checklist for Road to WrestleMania but Shane is not. As a consolation, his sister, Stephanie McMahon, the company’s Chief Brand Officer does have autographs in the set. To date, Shane McMahon’s only licensed autographed cards can be found in the super-premium product, 2019 Topps WWE Transcendent.

Women’s Tag Team Championship

This will be another fatal four-way match. It will take place between Sasha Banks & Bayley (c) vs. Beth Phoenix & Natalya vs. Nia Jax & Tamina Snuka vs. The IIconics. Anything can happen in this one. However, of the eight women participating in this spectacle, only Sasha Banks and Nia Jax have autographs in Road to WrestleMania this year. As for their respective tag team partners, Bayley’s first autographs are in 2016 Topps WWE products and Tamina Snuka’s date back to 2012!

The other pairings include veteran Natalya and returning Hall of Famer, Beth Phoenix. Australia’s favorite Superstars, the IIconics, made up of Billy Kay and Peyton Royce, round out the four-way. The duo from down-under each have their first autographs in 2016 Topps WWE NXT products.

As for Natalya and Beth Phoenix, they are easily and by far, the most seasoned Superstars in the women’s locker room. Their earliest autographs each date back to 2008 Topps WWE Heritage IV.

United States Championship – Samoa Joe (c) vs. Rey Mysterio

Heavyweight bad boy Samoa Joe and Lucha Libre inspired Rey Mysterio face off for this coveted title. Mysterio has just 15 autographs in total, the first coming in 2006 Topps Heritage Chrome. Joe, has several Topps autographs including one in Road to WrestleMania.

Intercontinental Championship – Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Finn Balor

Another match-up that features one participant with a Road to Wrestlemania autograph, Finn Balor and another without, Bobby Lashley. You can instead find Lashley’s first autographed card in 2006 Topps Heritage Chrome. His only other Topps WWE autograph came in the aforementioned 2019 Topps WWE Transcendent.

Triple H vs. Batista

Batista’s success as Drax in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, didn’t mean he in any way, shape or form forgot his years of perceived mistreatment at the hand of Hunter Hearst Helmsley, A.K.A. Triple H. This is a grudge match, pure and simple and Triple H, who is also the Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative, has put his in ring career on the line, should he lose. Triple H has been featured prominently in multiple Topps WWE sets in recent years. He does have autographs in Road to WrestleMania.

Dave Bautista, on the other hand, has never signed for Topps, despite several years of being a headliner. He does however have autographs in a couple of entertainment products, notably in Upper Deck’s Guardians of the Galaxy Volumes 1 & 2 as well as Avengers Infinity War. He also appears as Mr. Hinx in Rittenhouse’s James Bond Archives Final Edition.

AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton

Another grudge match with a heated story line that has been building for months. AJ Styles is represented in the 2019 Topps WWE Road to WrestleMania set. Randy Orton’s first autographed card is from the second series of 2006 Topps Heritage.

Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre

Roman Reigns’ triumphant return from leukemia treatment paved the way for this match to take place. Drew McIntyre believes it is his time to take center stage and replace Reigns as a face of the company. Neither opponents have cards in the Road to WrestleMania set. McIntyre’s first certified Topps autographs were released in 2010. Reigns’ first certified Topps autograph was released in 2013 Topps Best of WWE.

WWE Championship – Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Kofi Kingston

As improbable as it may seem, Kofi Kingston may just be your next WWE Champion. A lot of odd twists and turns in the story line have led to this moment. Meanwhile, Daniel Bryan hopes to retain the title by any means necessary. They each have cards in this year’s Road to WrestleMania set.

Universal Championship – Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Seth Rollins

If there is any one match that screams scripted, it is this one. Looking at the two of them in the ring, there would seem to be no way Seth Rollins could ever defeat Brock Lesnar. However, this is sports entertainment and anything is possible. Rollins has autographs in this year’s Road to WrestleMania, Lesnar does not. He does however have autographs in other products from Topps and not just in WWE. He also has autographs in Topps UFC sets as well. Pictured below is his card from 2015 Topps WWE Road to WrestleMania. It was the same year he began his transition from the octagon to the square circle.

Winner Take All – Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Becky Lynch

This bout is by far the talk of WrestleMania 35. As previously mentioned, it’s the first time a Women’s Division match has been the main event at WrestleMania. The stars aligned to see a three-way, Winner Takes All match, between three of the company’s biggest names. One woman will walk away with both the RAW and SmackDown LIVE titles. Will it be Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair or “The Man” Becky Lynch?

As for their cards, RouseyFlair and Lynch each have cards in 2019 Topps WWE Road to WrestleMania. Lynch’s card is part of the 3-card Divas Revolution autograph insert set. Rousey and Flair have base autographs.

Regardless of the outcomes of the various scheduled matches, one thing is certain. History will be made. Enjoy!!
