Future Watch: 2017 NBA Summer League Top Rookie Players – The NBA wrapped up its annual Summer League tournaments last month. Several top draft picks participated including a handful of players deemed most NBA-ready coming out of the 2017 NBA Draft. Here is a look at a couple of key players collectors will want to keep a eye on and their 2017 NBA Summer League statistics.

In addition, many of the players featured here will have their first autographed cards debuting next week, Wednesday, September 6th, 2017 with the release ofĀ 2017 Panini Contenders Draft Picks Collegiate Basketball Cards.

Markelle Fultz – Guard, Philadelphia 76ers –Ā The first overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft had an impressive Summer League outing. This, despite suffering a minor ankle injury that limited him to only two of the three games. He averaged 20 ppg, shooting 46.9% from the field with other per-game averages ofĀ 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 0.50 steals and 1.50 blocks.

Jayson TatumĀ – Forward, Boston Celtics – The third overall pickĀ in the 2017 NBA Draft, averaged nearly a double-double for the tournament. He averaged 18.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. In addition, he shot 46.8% from the field with 2.0 assists and 3.5 steals per-game.
