Future Watch: Connor Bunnaman Rookie Hockey Cards, Flyers – Connor Bunnaman was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers with the 109th overall pick in the 2016 NHL Draft. All hockey players are loaded with talent just to be able to work their way through the system and play pro hockey. This player may just be scratching the surface in what he will be able to do on the ice.

At 6-1, 207 pounds, he has the kind of body that lent him scoring hard-working goals, and a lot of them. In 2014-15, he started with the Kitchener Rangers and scored 10 goals there at the age of 16.

In 2015-16, he scored 16 goals and got four points in nine playoff games. His goals rose to 37 in 2016-17, and 27 the year after, all in all, he had 90 goals and 65 assists in 265 OHL games. His last season in the OHL he was a team captain and went on a playoff run that included 14 goals in 19 games plus a run that saw them eliminated in a Game 7 in the Conference Finals.

In 2018-19, he turned pro and played for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. In 62 games, he had 19 goals and 32 points with only 16 PIMS. He’s smart, rugged and he’s a two-way center. Those traits would see him only play for a short time in the AHL the following season.

In 2019-20, he played in Lehigh for 29 games, scoring six goals and nine points. He also got in 21 games with the Flyers. He only had two points in 21 games, but he fought hard for his ice time. He was a +7 and only had one minor penalty.

Here’s his first NHL goal:

Collectors can find officially licensed NHL rookie cards of Connor Bunnaman in several 2019-20 Upper Deck hockey products including his Young Guns rookie card in Series 1 Hockey. He also has other rookies cards in popular Upper Deck products like SP Game-Used, Allure, and O-Pee-Chee Update from Series 2 Hockey to name a few. Bunnaman’s only autographed cards, to date, can be found in 2015-16 and 2016-17 Leaf In The Game hockey products.

He doesn’t have the flash, but it won’t surprise anybody with increased ice time, he will get more points. Take a chance on him.
