Future Watch: Corey Seager Baseball Rookie Cards, Dodgers – The Los Angeles Dodgers have had more Rookie of the Year winners than any other franchise in major league baseball. That’s a fact that’s not likely to change and Cory Seager is yet another in a long line of players who they’ve drafted who have that kind of talent.

At 6-4, 215lbs, this shortstop should be a starter in 2016. He did manage to get into 27 games wearing Dodger blue. He had 98 at-bats, 33 hits, 4 homers, 17 RBI, and a .337 average. In five postseason games he had 16 at-bats getting just three hits against a strong New York Mets pitching staff. He got his feet wet on the losing side but at the tender age of 21 he has a lot more experience entering 2016 then he did in 2015.

The North Carolina product was selected 18th overall in the first round of the 2012 MLB Draft, and ever since then there’s been one career highlight after another. He played in the Futures Game for Team USA in 2014. He was the MVP of the California League in the same year. MLB.com ranked him as the 7th best prospect headed into the 2015 season. He’s always managed to exceed expectations.

Corey Seager’s first baseball cards can be found in 2010 Bowman Draft Picks & Prospects. He is part of the Chrome Prospects checklist and is pictured in his Team USA uniform. He has an autographed version of the card in the set as well.

Collectors looking for autographs of Corey Seager from 2015 products have several choices thanks to Panini. He is included on the checklist of the following products (to name a few):

This kid could be the next great shortstop in the game. He could be an all-star for the next decade or more. Dodgers fans just got a taste last year. This year will be huge for him.
