Future Watch: D.K. Metcalf Rookie Football Cards, SeahawksFuture Watch: D.K. Metcalf Rookie Football Cards, SeahawksD.K. Metcalf was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. His father is former NFL guard, Terrance Metcalf. This second-generation talent is 6-3, 230 pounds and he starred at Oxford High School where he scored 49 touchdowns.

He ended up attending Ole Miss. After the first two games he hurt his foot and never returned. He had two receptions for touchdowns which is impressive but at that point he was redshirted.

In his second season he played in 12 games. He had 39 receptions for 646 yards with seven touchdowns.

In 2018, his sophomore season, he had just 26 receptions, but he gained 569 yards and he had five touchdowns! He only played in seven games because he had a season-ending neck injury.

After that he was ready for the NFL draft. At the NFL Combine, he ran a 4.33, 40-yard dash, he did 27 reps on the weight bench and he did 134 inches on the broad jump!

Here’s a look at what he looked like at the NFL Combine:

The Seahawks were so happy to get Metcalf as a potential hookup for current QB Russell Wilson, the club signed him to a four-year deal! Wilson has been working out with him in Los Angeles. The rookie receiver looks like a body builder.

This player could be the next offensive Rookie of the Year. With Wilson throwing the ball to him there could be something special brewing in the great Northwest.

Collectors can find his rookie cards in 2019 Donruss Elite, Luminance, Score, and Donruss to name a few. 2019 Leaf Metal Draft has a rookie card of the potential NFL future star as well.

Collecting him would seem to be a no-brainer. There are some players who just look like they can have a seamless transition in the NFL and that includes Metcalf.
