Future Watch: Jadon Sancho Rookie Soccer Cards, Bundesliga – Despite being just 19 years old, Jadon Sancho is already one of the biggest names in world football. Not many young English up-and-coming stars move to other European leagues, but the winger made the jump to play in Germany in the Bundesliga when Borussia Dortmund came calling. That shows you some of the ambition and willingness to take chances that this young star has and Sancho displays that on the pitch as well.
Sancho plays on the wing and terrorizes defenses with his vision and passing. And 16 goals in his first 53 Bundesliga appearances for the Black and Yellow, including 12 last season, show that he is willing to attack the goal himself.
Few players can play the game at full speed physically and mentally, and that is where Sancho stands out. He is a smart player who has all the tools to unlock defenses and make the proper play at all times. Plus, he’s unselfish and his Dortmund teammates are reaping the benefits so far this campaign. Sancho has scored three times is his seven league appearances this season, but maybe more impressive is his five assists which leads the German top flight. And lest you think he’s just off to a fast start, Sancho led the league in assists last season with 14.
The England International made his senior debut for his country in 2018 in a draw with Croatia. He has tallied two senior goals so far. Sancho scored three times in three games for the England U17 side that won the 2017 U17 World Cup.
Jadon Sancho should be a dominant figure in European football for years to come and I expect plenty of trophies won in his future.
