Future Watch: Jake Fromm Football Cards, Buffalo Bills – Jake Fromm was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fifth-round of the 2020 NFL Draft. This 6’2”, 219-pound prospect has been lighting it up for a lot of years.

Fromm starred on the gridiron in Houston County High School in Georgia, but prior to this he made a splash in baseball, pitching in the 2011 Little League World Series. By the time he finished up at Houston County, Fromm had thrown for 12,745 yards and 116 touchdowns. He was named a USA High School All-American in his senior year.

Fromm’s next move was enrolling at the University of Georgia. He didn’t redshirt his first year, but he was the backup to future Colts pickup Jacob Eason to start the 2017 season. Eason, however, was injured early and Fromm replaced him starting in week one. By season’s end, Fromm had played in 15 games, throwing for 2,615 yards and 24 touchdowns against seven interceptions, while running for an additional three rushing touchdowns. Fromm was a Rose Bowl champion, leading his team to a double OT win over Oklahoma 54-48. He then played and lost to Alabama in the National Championship game. He was voted a Freshman All-American and SEC Freshman of the Year that season.

In his sophomore season, Fromm threw for 2,761 yards with 30 touchdowns and six interceptions, and enjoyed more success in his junior year, tossing for a career-high 2,860 yards, 24 touchdowns, and five interceptions. In January of 2020, Fromm announced he was skipping his senior year to enter the NFL Draft.

Collectors can get his rookie cards in 2020 sets, including Panini Certified, Elements and Prizm Draft. Fromm has also been included in Leaf sets since 2017, among which is 2020 Leaf Metal Draft.

Fromm will start his career as the backup to Josh Allen. Start collecting him now though; just like in college, you never know what can happen and when Fromm might get his chance.
