In 2016, he played rookie ball for the Missoula Osprey. In 249 at-bats the production was good; nine homers, 37 RBI, 13 steals, 42 runs scored and a .281 batting average in 62 games.

The next season he was in A-ball playing for the Kane County Cougars. He only hit .248 with a homer and 10 RBI and three steals in just 29 games. He then tore the meniscus in his knee and his season was over.

According to his MLB.com draft profile:

Chisholm’s knee is fine and he was back in time to participate at the organization’s instructs in the Dominican Republic last fall. He has a ton of offensive potential to tap into, with the ability to impact the baseball consistently and plenty of raw power. He needs to keep refining his approach from the left side of the plate and it looked like he was making strides in that regard, raising his OPS by over 300 points over the 10 games in May last year before he got hurt. The D-backs are hopeful those improvements carry over to 2018 and with a better approach, more over-the-fence power should follow. ETA 2021.

He’s back in 2018. He’s already homered and had six RBI in his first nine games. The .290 average and two steals meant he was healthy. He’s had a slight hamstring issue but that won’t hold him back this season.

He has a 2017 Bowman Chrome Prospects Autographs card and that’s a good way to get him into your collection.

Here’s a look at this exciting player:

Chisholm is loaded with talent and confidence. Collectors should load up on his cards.
