Future Watch: Josh Richardson Basketball Rookie Cards, Heat – A four-year player for the Tennessee Volunteers, Richardson’s NBA stock has risen drastically in recent weeks. He was a second round pick (40th overall) in the 2015 NBA Draft. The Miami Heat used him sparingly until recently.

In the month of March he shot 56.8 percent overall including 63.5 from behind the arc on 33-for-52 shooting. He averaged 29.1 minutes and 12.8 points per-game. Richardson has emerged as the leading freshman from beyond the arc, by a wide margin shooting 50.0 percent.

At 6’6″, and 200lbs., Richardson is athletic enough to create his own shot. He also moves well without the basketball and can draw defensive attention away from other players because of his shooting prowess from 3-point range.

With a rebuilding effort currently underway in Miami, Richardson is emerging as a key piece to that puzzle.
