Future Watch: Kirby Dach Rookie Hockey Cards, BlackhawksFuture Watch: Kirby Dach Rookie Hockey Cards, BlackhawksKirby Dach was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks with the third overall pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-4 center has great hands and soon he will be able to show them off in the Windy City. He’s already thrown out the first pitch in a Cubs game. The love affair is just beginning.

In 2016-17, he finished out his season with the Saskatoon Blades in the WHL. In 19 games, He had 10 points. That was just the beginning. He got his feet wet.

2017-18 was a big year for the big center. He had a chance to represent his country and play for Canada Black in the U17s. There he had seven points in six games. As a WHL rookie, he played in 52 games. He had seven goals and 39 helpers. Those are solid numbers and the assists were the most by a rookie that season. He had a great impact.

In 2018-19, he built his reputation as one of the best players in junior hockey. In 62 games, he had 25 goals and 48 assists for 73 points. If that wasn’t strong enough, he followed that up with five goals and eight points in 10 postseason games. A lot of teams noticed, and the Blackhawks made sure they took him off the board before another team could have a shot at him.

This player has a large wingspan and a big smile to match it. He has the ability to be a first line center down the road. For now, he will have to build up his body. At around 193 pounds he has the frame that can add a lot more muscle.

Collectors can get his 2017-18 Upper Deck CHL cards. He was in the following year’s set as well. He has autograph cards in there.

Collect everything Dach. This is a no-brainer. Follow him on Twitter @kdach77.
