Future Watch: Kris Dunn Basketball Rookie Cards, Timberwolves – A 6′-4″, 205lb, point guard, Kris Dunn was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the fifth overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. He is a former McDonald’s and Parade All-American.
A four-year starter for the Providence Friars, Dunn earned First Team All-Big East, Big East Player of the Year and Big East Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2015 and 2016.During his tenure with the team, he put up per game averages of 12.8 points, 5.8 assists, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.2 steals.
Drawing comparisons to Lamar Odom and Dwayne Wade, his NBA Draft Profile states: “He is going to get buckets in the NBA. An electric two-way player who is explosive with his first step – the quickest first step of the players we’ve profiled. He has a great handle and showcases an array of moves to shake free for jumpers or to slash his way to the basket. He is a patient playmaker both for himself and for others, as he possesses elite vision to go along with accurate passing skills.” – Marc D’Amico, NBA Draft Analyst
In early pre-season NBA action he is averaging 6.0 points, 4 rebounds, 10 assists and 1 block per game.
Kris Dunn is a gifted defender. Having twice been named Big East Defensive Player of the Year, he brings a lot of energy to both ends of the court.

The NBA trading card season officially kicks-off October 12th, 2016 with the release of 2016-17 Hoops NBA Basketball from Panini America. The exclusive trading card manufacturer of the NBA, Panini America, also has a slate of collegiate products scheduled that will feature NBA rookies including Dunn.
The first of these NCAA themed basketball sets debuts last week with the release of 2016-17 Contenders Draft Picks Basketball. This will be the first mainstream release to include autographs of Kris Dunn.
If you can’t wait for the release of Hoops, this week, October 5th, 2016, marks the release of the 2016-17 Panini NBA Sticker Collection of which Dunn will be included as sticker #19.
