Future Watch: Kristaps Porzingis Rookie Basketball Cards, New York Knicks – Porzingis is the latest, high-profile European import to be making an impact on the NBA. The New York Knicks selected the Latvian with the fourth overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.

At 7′-3″ and 240lbs, his frame and ball skills allow him to play both the power forward and center positions. Porzingis has plenty of experience in international play and was twice named to the Spanish’s ACB league’s All-Young Players Team. He was also acknowledged with the Eurocup Rising Star award in 2015.

Through nine games this season Porzingis is averaging 24.7 minutes-per game. His per-game number averages include: 11.6 points, 9 rebounds, 1.2 blocks, 1 steal and a shooting percentage from the charity stripe of 82.1.

This is a great clip highlighting his overall ability: quick hands, quick feet, solid moves, runs the floor, finishes at the rim with authority.

Panini America, the licensed trading card manufacturer of the NBA has already released product details for several upcoming basketball card sets. Collectors can be assured that Kristaps Porzingis will be a featured rookie throughout the NBA trading card season.

Kristaps Porzingis already has a couple of very hot autographed cards including his 2015 NBA Hoops Hot Signatures and 2015-16 Contenders Draft Picks International Ticket cards. Both have been selling consistently in the $70-$100 range on the secondary market. Prices for low numbered parallels of both cards have been sold for several hundred dollars.
