Future Watch: Kylian Mbappé Rookie Soccer Cards, Paris Saint-Germain – There is a young superstar in world football who has already accomplished so much despite being only 21 years old. He is considered by many to be one of the top handful of players in the world. That young man is French forward Kylian Mbappé.
Mbappé is a force up front for PSG, as his side dominates play in France’s top division, Ligue 1. This season he has 18 goals in league and had a magnificent 33 last campaign. He broke through in the professional ranks at Monaco before transferring to PSG in 2017.
Oh, I haven’t even mentioned that he helped lead France to the World Cup title in 2018, scoring in the Final at the age of 19 and had three goals in the matches prior. Mbappé was named to Time’s “25 Most Influential Teens of 2018”.
To watch him closely is to be attracted to the beauty of football itself. The young man is a magical player on the pitch. He has the tools required to become the most dominant force in the world’s game. Both feet will hurt you. He has pace and quickness above virtually everyone else playing. Add to that, he is unselfish and looks to help set up his teammates as well. He has recorded five assists in league play this season and had seven last season.
It is not hyperbole to say he has the talent to become the world’s best player and its’ brightest star (as soon as Messi and Ronaldo decide they are done).
Kylian Mbappé already has several soccer cards on the market. However, none are designated as true rookies. Also, to date, he has just one autographed card. They were randomly inserted into 2018 Panini Father’s Day promotional packs. His first non-sticker or CCG cards (Adrenalyn XL) can be found in 2017-18 Panini and Topps soccer products including: Select, Topps Chrome UEFA Champions League and Topps Museum Collection UEFA Champions League.
