Future Watch: Laviska Shenault Jr. Football Cards, Jacksonville Jaguars – Laviska Shenault Jr. was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. This 6-1, 227-pound wide receiver has a lot of tools and he started to show them off in high school.

Shenault attended DeSoto High School, in DeSoto Texas. In his senior year, he caught 46 balls for 825 yards and nine touchdowns. Instead of staying locally, he committed to the University of Colorado.

Sheanault played in 12 games as a freshman but wasn’t a big part of the offense. In his sophomore season, he had 11 catches for 211 yards in his first game as a starter against rival Colorado State. In total, he played in 31 games, 16 of them as a starter. He had 145 catches for 1,900 yards and 11 touchdowns. He decided not to return as a senior to enter the NFL Draft.

At the NFL Combine, he ran a 4.58 in the 40-yard dash. He did 17 reps on the weight bench. He definitely helped himself considering he didn’t have massive NCAA statistics to put out there.

There were a lot of eyes on him as he worked through the NFL’s virtual rookie camp. After the NFL Combine, he had core surgery and he’s been rehabbing that as well and will be ready for the 2020 NFL Season on time as it stands now.

Current Jags quarterback, Gardner Minshew played against him in college. He’s very excited to get this guy on the field to become one of his targets.

Here’s a look at him in action:

Collectors can find his rookie cards in several 2020 football products including: Contenders Draft Picks, Chronicles Draft Picks, and Leaf Metal Draft to name a few.

He’s not a massive name. If the Jags can get the ball in his hands, his ability to get big yards after the catch will excite a lot of NFL fans and collectors that believed in him.
