Future Watch: Max Domi Hockey Rookie Cards, Arizona Coyotes

Future Watch: Max Domi Hockey Rookie Cards, Arizona Coyotes The son of Tie Domi has inherited his good hands and that’s pretty much where the comparisons end. The eldest Domi did once have a 15-goal season but his son, Max, will obliterate that family record and that’s probably going to happen this season in Arizona.

In his first 15 games, Domi rang up 13 points and seven goals. That’s not only putting him in Calder contention but that has put him among the top scorers in the league. That probably won’t last, but what will is his willingness to put his 5′-10″, 198lb frame in harms way to make a play and get points for his team. He’s fearless in traffic, has tremendous hands and skates like the wind. So far the 12th overall pick in the 2013 NHL Draft is one of the breakout stars in the league.

Bobby Clarke is in the Hockey Hall of Fame even though he’s a diabetic. We don’t know if Domi will end up there one day but he has the same malody. Both are Type 1 and both never let it slow them down.

Domi has another rare characteristic. He’s always talking to younger players offering pointers and advice. He’s a real rink rat and that’s why Coyotes fans are lucky to have him and he’s helped turn around a sorry team that picked third overall in last year’s draft.

2015-16 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey, already a juggernaut, is the best place to look for a Max Domi rookie card among a few long and illustrious list of talented “Young Guns”.

Domi is the Rookie Redemption in 2015-16 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey. Additionally, collectors can be assured that he will be heavily featured in other Upper Deck hockey products throughout the season.

With his pedigree, Domi has been on the radar of collectors and manufacturers for several years. he has several pre-rookie cards in In The Game sets including 2012-13 Draft Prospects, 2013-14 Heroes & Prospects, to name a few.
