Future Watch: Miguel Gomez Rookie Baseball Cards, Giants
For three seasons he put up good numbers in the Dominican Summer League. That last season in 2014, he hit .318 with five homers and 60 RBI.
In 2015, he played in Short-A for the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. That season he had six homers, 52 RBI with 14 doubles and a .319 batting average.
Playing for two teams in 2016, he had a combined 17 homers, 67 RBI and a .330 batting average.
In 2017, he started the year in Double-A for the Richmond Flying Squirrels. There he had 19 doubles, two triples, eight homers and 38 RBI with a .305 average.
He got called up to the Giants for a short stint of 22 games where he had two doubles, two RBI and a .242 average.
In 2018, he started out in Richmond. Now 25, he hit .313 with 12 doubles, four triples, four homers, and 25 RBI. That got him promoted to the big leagues once again.
With the Giants, he played in nine games. He had four hits, one RBI and a .267 average. Then they sent him down to Triple-A. He played in 116 games for the Sacramento River Cats. There he hit 14 doubles, one triple, two homers, with 23 RBI and a .273 batting average.

Gomez can hit. He’s now elected for free agency. He’s at the age where some team will take a chance on him and he can make the roster out of spring training. His time is now, and his card could be a surprise to some come next season.
