Future Watch: Nick Bosa Rookie Football Cards, 49ers – Nick Bosa was drafted second overall by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2019 NFL Draft. This 6-4, 266-pound defensive end is a dynamic, generational talent.
He starred at Ohio State University. He played in 12 games as a freshman, not easy to do at a big program. He had 29 tackles, 17 of them were of the solo variety and seven of them were for a loss. He added five sacks. A solid rookie season and he was voted an ESPN Freshman All-American.
In 2017, he played in 14 games and had 34 tackles. 19 of them were solo, 16 were for a loss, plus 8.5 sacks and a forced fumble. He won the Defensive Lineman of the Year; his team was a Big Ten Champion and he was voted first-team All-Big Ten.
2018 was a weird year. He played three games, then had core surgery. He surprisingly pulled out of the rest of the season. He later entered the NFL Draft.
At the NFL Combine, he ran a 4.79 in the 40-yard dash. He did 33 reps on the bench press. He has a great vertical leap. He’s an amazing athlete and this only guaranteed he’d go first or second in the draft.

It didn’t take long for Bosa to get noticed. He has two sacks and four solo tackles in the 49ers’ second game of the season against the Cleveland Browns.
In their fourth game against the Washington Redskins, he had five solo tackles, a sack and three tackles for a loss in yardage.
