Future Watch: Patrick Queen Football Cards, Baltimore Ravens – Patrick Queen was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens with the 28th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. This 6-0, 232-pound linebacker is a tremendously special talent.
Queen grew up in Ventress, Louisiana and attended Livonia High School where he excelled in football playing two positions: linebacker and running back, As a senior, he had 19 touchdowns and 66 tackles, which garnered the attention of college scouts.
Following high school, Queen attended LSU. he played as a true freshman at the linebacker position, which aligned best with his abilities, and stayed on the defensive side throughout his collegiate career. He has the kind of speed that can close on a quarterback or a running back very rapidly.
In his junior year – Queen played in the 2020 National Championship Game against Clemson and walked away with a 42-25 win and the title. The athletic linebacker made eight tackles, 2.5 of which were for a loss, and he had a combined sack. These numbers earned Queen Defensive MVP honors for the game, which proved to be his last in the NCAA. Soon after, Queen made a career-altering announcement via Twitter:

At the 2020 NFL Combine, Queen ran 4.5 in the 40-yard dash. His vertical was 35.0 inches and his 18 reps on the weight bench were more than enough for the scouts to see. He had cemented a first day spot in the NFL Draft.
Queen impressed enough out of Ravens camp that he was named to the team out of the gate. In his first game, Queen had a combined eight tackles (a team high), a forced fumble and a sack. He has continued his impressive play through the season and has maintained his starting position. This is one hell of a force player that should be in your collection right now.
