Future Watch: Ryan Finley Rookie Football Cards, Bengals – Ryan Finley was selected in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. A 6-4, 213-pound quarterback is a pick for the future since Andy Dalton is still their top quarterback.
Finley started out at Boise State and as a freshman he played in five games throwing 12-27 for 161 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
His sophomore year was a mixed bag. He was 46-70, for 485 yards with a touchdown and four interceptions, but he had a season ending ankle injury after just three games in 2015.
In 2016, he transferred to North Carolina State. He got his degree in three years and got a sixth year of college eligibility. And that season he blossomed. His 3,059 yards were sixth best in the history of the university. His 18 touchdowns ranked 11th all-time.
In 2017, he was an Academic All-ACC player. He had a 3.89 GPA and earned a master’s degree in liberal arts. That season he broke a lot of records. He threw 339 passes without an interception. Russell Wilson had the NCAA record with 379. His 65% completion percentage was the third highest in the history of the program. He was one of five finalists for the Unitas Award. The only ACC quarterback to be nominated. His 3,712 yards were fourth best in team history. After that he was ready for the NFL.
Finley ran a 4.73 40-yard dash at the NFL combine. He had a broad jump of 116 inches. He’s a good athlete.
Collectors can find rookie cards of him in 2019 Panini Legacy, Luminance, Prizm Draft Picks, Contenders Draft Picks, SAGE Autographed Football and 2019 Leaf Flash, and there’s more.
