Future Watch: Terry McLaurin Rookie Football Cards, RedskinsFuture Watch: Terry McLaurin Rookie Football Cards, RedskinsTerry McLaurin was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. A lot of teams had the talented wide receiver on their draft board, but the Redskins acted first.

McLaurin starred at Ohio State University. Like most big universities, they red-shirted him in his freshman season in 2015-16.

In 2016-17, he was used sparingly catching 11 balls for 114 yards and two touchdowns. He was patiently waiting for his turn.

In 2017-18, he had more of an impact catching 29 passes for 436 yards and six touchdowns. His long was 84 yards and he had 15.0 yards per catch average.

In 2018-19, he caught 35 balls for 701 yards. He reached the endzone 11 times and he had a 20 yards per catch average. He was ready to show his stuff at the combine.

At the combine, he ran a 4.35 in the 40-yard dash. His 18 reps on the bench press sealed the deal for the Redskins for sure.

Collectors can find his rookie cards in 2019 Score, Prizm Draft Picks, Certified, Immaculate Collegiate and more.

During rookie camp, people noticed this talented receiver. He wasn’t considered elite heading into the draft and after he was drafted. But once he hit the gridiron the narrative about him has changed a lot.

Here’s a look at his amazing week one touchdown:

He’s got speed to burn and good hands. He had five catches for 125 yards and a TD against the Eagles who have a good defense. That’s an average of 25 yards per catch! In week two, he five catches for 62 yards and another sweet catch in the endzone against the rival Cowboys. In Monday’s match-up with the Bears, McLaurin caught six passes for 70 yards and a touchdown. He became the first player to have at least five catches and a touchdown in the first three games of his pro career!

This guy can play, and he could be a player who surprisingly gets in the running for the offensive Rookie of the Year Award. Start collecting him before that happens.
