Future Watch: Top NFL Rookie Performances – Week Fifteen, 2015 – Here is a look at some of the top NFL rookie performances, by position, from Week Fifteen of the 2015 NFL season. Highlights include two strong defenses performances, a rookie QB with a bigger play book and some future stars in the making at wide receiver.

Quarterback

Jameis Winston (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) – 1st Round, 1st Overall Pick – Florida State: Threw for 363 yards on 29 of 50 passing with two touchdowns. Also had one pick and a fumble in a 23-31 loss to the St. Louis Rams.

Running Back(s)

David Johnson  (Arizona Cardinals) – 3rd Round, 86th Overall – Northern Iowa: Had 29 carries for 187 yards (6.4 avg.) with three touchdowns. Also had four catches for 42 yards in the Cardinals’ 40-17 victory against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Wide Receiver(s)

Amari Cooper (Oakland Raiders) – 1st Round, 4th Overall Pick – Alabama: Recorded six catches for 120 yards and two touchdowns in a 20-30 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Dorial Green-Beckham (Tennessee Titans) – 2nd Round, 20th Overall Pick – Oklahoma: Grabbed six catches for 113 yards (18.8 avg.) in a 16-30 loss to the New England Patriots.

Stefon Diggs (Minnesota Vikings) – 5th Round, 146th Overall Pick – Maryland: Recorded 3 receptions for 55 yards and two touchdowns in the Vikings 38-17 win over the Chicago Bears.

Defense

Marcus Peters, Cornerback (Kansas City Chiefs) – 1st Round, 18th Overall Pick – Washington:  Had three tackles, four passes defensed, two interceptions and a 90-yard interception-return touchdown in the Chiefs’ 34-14 win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Damarious Randall, Cornerback (Green Bay Packers) – 1st Round, 30th Overall Pick – Arizona State: Recorded seven tackles, a pass defensed and a 43-yard interception-return touchdown in the Packers’ 30-20 win against the Oakland Raiders.
