Future Watch: Top NFL Rookie Performances – Week Four, 2015 – Here is a look at some of the top NFL rookie performances, by position, from week four of the 2015 NFL season.

Quarterback

Jameis Winston (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) – 1st Round, 1st Overall Pick – Florida State: Winston wins by default this week but was absolutely dreadful in the Bucs 23-37 loss to Carolina. He was 26-of-43 with 287 yards and two touchdowns but also threw four interceptions and was sacked twice, leaving him with a QB Rating of 57.0.

Running Back(s)

Todd Gurley (St. Louis Rams) – 1st Round, 10th Overall Pick – Georgia: 19 carries, 149 yards, 7.7 yards-per-carry average in the Rams 24-22 upset over the Arizona Cardinals.

Duke Johnson (Cleveland Browns) – 3rd Round, 77th Overall Pick – Miami: Combine for 116 yards of total offense including 8 carries for 31 yards and 9 receptions for 85 yards and a touchdown. Despite his efforts the Browns lost to the Chargers 30-27.

T.J. Yeldon (Jacksonville Jaguars) – 2nd Round, 36th Overall Pick – Alabama: 105 yards rushing on 22 carries for a 4.8 yard average in the Jaguars loss to the Colts 13-16.

Wide Receiver

Stefon Diggs (Minnesota Vikings) – 5th Round, 146th Overall Pick – Maryland: Put up a 6 reception performance for 87 yards but fumbled twice in the Vikings 20-23 loss to the Denver Broncos.

Special Teams

Josh Lambo (San Diego Chargers) – Undrafted Free Agent – Texas A & M: Went 3-for-3 in field goal attemps including a 34-yard game winner in the team’s 30-27 victory over the Cleveland Browns.

Defense

Za’Darius Smith (Baltimore Ravens) – 4th Round, 122nd Overall Pick – Kentucky: The linebacker delivered two sacks in the Ravens 23-20 win over the Steelers.
