Future Watch Update: Ryan Finley Rookie Football Cards, Bengals – Ryan Finley was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. The fanbase already loves this player and he hasn’t started a game yet. Let’s see why.
In 2013, he was redshirted in his freshman season at Boise State. In 2014, he only played in five games. He was 12-for-27 for 161 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. He added seven rushes for 31 yards good for a 4.4 yards per rush clip.
In 2015, he was named the starter and that was a big moment for him. In three games he was 46-for-70, with 485 yards, one touchdown and four picks. His pass completion percentage was 65.7%. He added 42 yards rushing as well and then he had season-ending ankle surgery. This was a bump in the road for sure.
The next season he transferred to NC State. His first season there was a revelation. He threw for 3,059 yards, with 18 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He added 94 yards and a rushing touchdown as well.
In 2017, he threw for 3,514 yards with 17 touchdowns and six interceptions. His QBR was an amazing 136! He added 194 yards on the ground and three rushing touchdowns as well. That year he was voted third-team All-ACC.
In 2018, he excelled throwing for 3,928 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. His pass completion percentage was 67.4% with a 148 QBR. This time he was voted First-Team All-ACC. His college career ended on a high note. He managed a 3.889 GPA to become an Academic All-ACC player as well.
At 6-4, 213, he shined at the NFL combine. He ran a 4.73 in the 40, and his vertical was 30.5 inches.
